About Me
A good writer carefully crafts an arrangement of words into a formula that evokes feeling. This is my trademark. I marvel at the skillful art of simplicity and take great pride in writing less to describe more.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from The American University in Washington, D.C. where I double majored in Communications: Visual Media and Literature: Cinema Studies.
I received my Masters of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University’s prestigious Graduate Film Division in New York City. At Columbia, I concentrated in Directing and Screenwriting, winning Milos Forman Finishing Funds for my short film All-American, which screened at festivals throughout the country. During my last year, I was also awarded Faculty Honors for my thesis screenplay, entitled Believe.
Since then, I have been working steadily as a copywriter and more recently as a head of brand marketing and communications. With experience writing everything from fiction, essays, screenplays, video game scripts, reviews, press releases, interviews, business plans, voice-over demo scripts, and key advertising and marketing pieces, I serve as a trusted, creative thinker who thrives on tough deadlines and understands the valuable power of the English language.
